Commercial Sales Consultant	5/31/2008
A full- or part-time position, the Commercial Sales Consultant will work primarily outside the studio setting to uncover and develop sales opportunities. The Commercial Sales Consultant will take advantage of the huge untapped market on the commercial side to create a strong, sustainable business. This is a commission driven position--your income level is limited only by your ability to build strong relationships with your clients! The successful candidate for this position will have a strong sales background with some exposure to interior design, space planning, color design, or furniture. A self-starter, able to work in a highly unsupervised capacity, the Commerical Sales Consultant will uphold the image and integrity that is integral to the Designs Of The Interior customer experience. Sales Manager	2/3/2008
Responsibilities -Ensure proper staffing by pro-actively recruiting and retaining qualified design consultants -Establish performance goals for all design consultants, monitor performance, and hold staff accountable for achievement. -Motivate, coach, and develop design consultants. -Coordinate and conduct training for all employees. -Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures. -Build effective marketing and merchandising strategies to achieve sales and profit objectives. -Ensure superior customer service standards are in place and followed, and assist in resolving any customer service issues that arise. Requirements -Minimum of five years experience management and leadership experience. Home furnishings, furniture industry or design experience a plus. -Demonstrated history of building successful sales teams a must. -Professional verbal, written, presentation and computer skills. -Ability to work some evenings and weekend days.
